What can I say? You have to visit the Rhine Falls right beside Schaffhausen to feel how beautiful the raw violence of water can be.

Later we also visited Stein am Rhein with an unique historic district and amazing wall paintings as well as the Schaffhausen minster, where you can visit a snug herbary, a peaceful cloistered courtyard and the Schillerglocke (Schiller’s Bell) which was given the name because Friedrich Schiller took the bell as an inspiration for his famous poem.
